I am new to the CRM world. I am considering buying a small business with about $2M in sales. Some sales come from selling car wash equipment to entrepreneurs who start car washes. Some sales come from selling chemicals to those owners. Some sales comes from selling cleaning chemicals to janitorial companies, etc.
The business is run "in the stone age." The seller/owner/founder is allergic to computers. The only advertisting is a yellow pages add and word of mouth referrals.
I need to recruiting, train, and deploy a small sales force to sell the chemicals.
I've heard of Infusion's product I heard about through DuctTapeMarketing's blog.
So, I'd have about 3-5 users during the first 18 months post implementation.
Which CRM system would I use?
What are the top 3-5 issues I need to consider when making my decision?
What are the best practices for training people on using a CRM application who have never used one?
I also need to recruit and train a sales force.
What are best practices in recruiting sales folks?
What are best practices for training a sales force?
What are best practices for managing a sales force?
Thanks!
